As part of the National Rural Development Program (NRDP) – sub-measure 10.2 biodiversity-, ANAGA has produced a series of videos presenting the results of the “Dual Breeding” project. Andreas Tauferer, president of the National Association of Alpine Grey Breed Cattle Breeders, summarizes the key points of the project as follows: “Biodiversity, animal health and environmental protection are different topics. The Dual Breeding project brings all these aspects together for greater sustainability of cattle breeding. Based on three success stories, the breeders let us in on their daily work with Grigio Alpina and show with much passion how they enhance the milk and meat of this local breed by turning them into quality products.”
